This is for the evening shift that normally works Monday – Friday 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. Flexibility is necessary for the evening position due to daytime meetings and trainings.
MCRT is dedicated to resolving emergency situations by providing brief and intensive services to reduce individuals’ needs for hospitalization and law enforcement interaction when possible and supporting client connection to resources including but not limited to mental health care.
The qualified candidate will have a strong desire to provide intensive crisis intervention services to the community, be well versed in suicide and safety assessments, be willing to strongly advocate for the best interests of the clients we serve and have a strong passion for Public Service. The pair will de-escalate, assess and support individuals through their crisis and complete timely follow up, either by phone or at their home, to ensure the individual connects to appropriate resources and/or the crisis has resolved.
The second role of the Crisis Clinician is to provide ongoing clinical support for clients on MCRT case managers’ caseloads.
