The Office of the District Court Trustee is dedicated to enriching the financial lives of the children and families we serve by providing information resources, reliable payment records and fair enforcement of family support orders. We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives working independently, bringing enthusiasm, energy, and passion to their work. This role requires a professional who can respond to inquiries with compassion and understanding. First review of applications for this job will begin October 28, 2024.
Responsibilities Include:
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Administration, or related field and one year legal support, including legal research support are required.
Professional Paralegal Certification is preferred.
Experience can substitute for education. Education can substitute for experience.
Candidate must be able to successfully complete background screenings and reference checks.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments/agencies in a declared emergency situation.
