Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Addiction Counseling or other Human Services field and a Kansas Behavioral Sciences license* at the bachelor’s level in the area of focus are required: LAC (licensed addiction counselor).
Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills are required. Incumbent must have leadership skills, analytical skills and be highly organized and able to maintain confidentiality. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Incumbent must successfully pass a criminal history check, have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and submit to and pass a pre-employment, post-offer drug screen prior to employment
*Applicants who meet Kansas licensure requirements may be considered if Kansas licensure is obtained by time of an employment offer and licensure is pending confirmation at the time of employment application.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Addiction Counseling, Human Services, or relevant field; master's level licensure through KS BSRB (i.e. LMAC, LMFT, LMSW, LCP, LPC, etc.); and one (1) year of of direct counseling experience
