Johnson County Mental Health Center (JCMHC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Screen and Assessment Clinician. As a Community Mental Health center in the state of Kansas, JCMHC serves as a gate keeper for the state hospital system. Completing screens and assessments to best identify the most appropriate level of care and supports for an individual is a process we hold in high esteem.
The schedule for this position will be Wednesday – Saturday, 7am – 5pm with opportunities to complete some hours in a hybrid work model. First review of applications will be June 23rd.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family field; Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure at the master’s level in the area of focus and a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
Preferred Requirements:
Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level, one year of experience in the area of focus and proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments/agencies in a declared emergency situation.
