Johnson County Mental Health Center (JCMHC) is seeking an exceptional leader for the position of Deputy Division Director within the Emergency Service Division. This position will be responsible for fostering leadership growth, program development, and innovative practices for JCMHC’s Open Access, 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline, and Screening and Assessment Teams.
Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level.

Additional duties include:
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Addiction Counseling or other relevant Human Services field; Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure at the master's level in the area of focus; six (6) years of clinical mental health experience in the area of focus; three (3) years leading, directing, supervising, or coordinating the work of others; two (2) years experience in community mental health or relevant experience and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure at the clinical level in the area of focus preferred.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
