Johnson County Aging and Human Services is looking for qualified applicant to fill the Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program position of Nutrition Volunteer Coordinator.
Duties include:
High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years' experience in the coordination and scheduling of people or events, to include organizational, administrative and public speaking skills are required.
Education can substitute for experience.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, gerontology, or relevant social or human service field; one (1) year experience working with the Older Adults or other special needs population; five (5) years' experience managing a large volunteer services program; expertise maintaining a Facebook page, Twitter account, and creating You Tube videos' and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, & Publisher are preferred.
