Johnson County Aging and Human Services is recruiting for a Communications Coordinator. This position will close on December 5 at 5 pm.
This position will assess, plan, implement internal and external communications and is responsible for maintaining and expanding digital media efforts, including content creation, social media management, creating videos, and supporting digital accessibility needs.
Additional duties include:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or relevant field and one year of experience in Human Services, journalism, corporate or organizational marketing, communications or public relations, including experience using software to create graphic elements for social media and experience creating videos for social media or relevant experience are required. KS/MO driver’s license with an acceptable driving record are required.
Experience can be substituted for education or education can be substituted for experience.
Lifting requirement of 15-20 lbs. to assist setting up for events or transporting communication materials.
