The Transit Planner manage daily operations and strategic service deployment in cooodination with local and regional transportation and planning agencies.It provide support and back-up for the Transportation Division Director. They help implement division's goals and objectives, oversee budgeting and capital projects that support the County's strategic plan for Transit. Also they manage and oversee Transit planning and marketing strategies.
Job Duties include:
Required:Bachelor's degree in Regional Or Urban Planning, or Public Administration, or relevant field is required. Two years of local or regional transportation planning experience is required Valid driver's license. Understanding of Federal Transit Administration regulations and Negotiation skills in regards to conflict resolution and collaboration.is also required.
Preferred: Master's degree in Regional or Urban Planning, Public Administration, Management or Business Administration or relevant field is preferred. ACIP certifcation is preferred.
