Johnson County Mental Health is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of full-time Engagement Coordinator working in the Prevention and Community Relations Division. The Engagement Coordinator will focus on building and maintaining relationships with staff through awareness, outreach, education and meaningful partnerships to support engagement within their role and within the center. First review of applications will be January 5th.
Additional duties include:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field is required. Two (2) years of experience in the area of focus. Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record required.
Two (2) years of experience presenting information to groups and two (2) years of experience in the collaboration and coordination of initiatives/activities and/or project management are preferred.
Experience may be substituted for education.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
