Johnson County Wastewater (JCW) is responsible for the safe collection, transportation and treatment of wastewater generated by our community. Our work ensures that our lakes, rivers, and streams remain free from disease-causing pathogens and pollutants that are harmful to public health and the environment. Johnson County Wastewater is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Assistant Chief Engineer - Integrated Planning Manager.

Job duties include:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering program is required. Twelve (12) years direct experience in engineering of complex water/wastewater projects, Seven (7) years project management and five (5) years supervisory experience are required. Must pass a background check and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. A Professional Engineering License (KS) or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months is required.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering program and three (3) years direct experience in Asset Management Programs is preferred.
