The Johnson County Mental Health Center has an exciting opportunity for an organized and detailed orientated person to join our Prevention and Community Relations Team. As an integral member of the team, the Staff Development Specialist (Training II) supports mental health center staff and students in meeting training and enrichment needs. This position provides a variety of support tasks associated with professional development including but not limited to:
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in the following field(s) of study is required: Organizational Development, Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design and Technology, Business Education, Human Services, Social Science, or relevant field.
Two (2) years of relevant experience is required. Applicant must successfully pass a criminal history check; and possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with and able to use Microsoft Office Suite, online Learning Management Systems, online training sites/programs/tools (such as Moodle or HTML), or similar programs is preferred.
Experience may be substituted for education. Education may be substituted for experience.
